At this point in time Koza decided to tap into a mode of releasing new music every week. The third in this era, Koza tapped back into his rap bag and gave us a upbeatgym grind song inspired by Red Bull’s Formula 1 lead driver Max Vertsappen’s dominant performance over the past few years. This song was actually recorded during the summer of 2022 and was intended to be on It’s Not About Pretty, but was left off for thematic reasons. This marks the first of many collaborations with SwayWassup, a pioneering new talent in AI music and Hip-Hop.

My friends introduced me to this idea of a “Granola Girl” which is someone who embraces a natural, active, and eco-friendly lifestyle and typically enjoys hobbies such as hiking, biking, or rock climbing. Growing up in the Midwest, these were all things that I always loved to do and found that I more easily get along with these types of people. I wrote this song in late October, and it was what made me finally admit to myself that I had feelings for my best friend at the time after not realizing for so long. This song is intended to help you relish in newfound romantic appreciation of someone and to inspire you to admit your feelings to them as you might find yourself with everything you’ve ever wanted. This song was the first song I worked on with Italian dance-producer Klein, however it is the 3rd released song which I hope to eventually put together in a larger project.

Wassa is a nickname that the SimpkinsTwins and the BME family gave me as a codename. Feeling like this was the end, and believing for a moment it was time to move on and try something new we Entered the Wassa. After meeting a beautiful soul that showed me what love felt like after many months of abstaining from love, the Wassa energy was born. Wassa represents pursuing passion with a relentless spirit in spite of the internal conflict advising against it.

A bet was made on the turnaround of this project. Wassa won the bet. Taken from a collection of unreleased Koza songs unofficially known as “The Improvements Era,” He tried to dig deep into what he was exactly feeling at this moment in time. The new environment of college and the new love interests in the life of Koza all had influences in the Improvements Era as well as these two releases. The Vera Fratellanza pays homage to the closer friends of Koza and was recorded on New Year’s after a session with the SimpkinsTwins. These songs are ultimately a predecessor for the Koza X Glair Mixtape coming in Fall 2022…
2023
New Installments to the Soundcloud Exclusives have been made since the previous release such as the collaboration with Aryan Vij “Maybe” and a throwback to the LaFerrari Era with fan favorite “Heart-Eyes” produced by Malloy, this pack now serves as Koza to put out even more music and collaborations that ultimately don’t “fit” thematically in his current era but are still craved by fans when teased on Social Media.
